Born and raised in Hong Kong, Irene Chan came to the United States to study when she was 18. She received her BFA in graphic design from the Savannah College of Art & Design and has had a successful career in multiple disciplines in design. The birth of her son prompted her to rekindle the love she has for books, storytelling, publishing and art for children, and her characters and art are now licensed for sale as children's wall art, lighting, and various home decor products.
