Dana Alison Levy was born and raised in New England and studied English literature in Montreal at McGill University before earning an MBA at Babson College. While there is value in all learning, had she known she would end up writing for a living she might not have struggled through all those statistics and finance classes. Dana writes novels for kids and teenagers.

Her first novel, The Misadventures of the Family Fletcher, received accolades from the American Library Association, Bank Street College of Education, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, NPR, and others, and appears on several state award lists. The Family Fletcher Takes Rock Island and This Would Make a Good Story Someday both also garnered starred reviews and mentions on Best Of lists. Her fourth book, It Wasn’t Me, has received three starred reviews, is a PW Best Book of 2018, an Indies Next Winter Pick, and an Amazon Editor’s Pick.

All of her novels for younger readers are published by Delacorte Press/Penguin Random House. Her first book for teens, Above All Else, will be published in 2020 by CharlesbridgeTEEN.
