Katie holds a BFA in illustration from Columbus College of Art and Design. She works primarily in Photoshop on a Wacom Cintiq, illustrating for clients such as Ladybug, Ask, The Friend, Benchmark Educational, Wiley Publishing, Charlesbridge Publishing, and Nomad Press. She is also a member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. When she isn’t in the studio, she likes to spend time at the theater, in her garden, or getting lost in a good book.

Katie lives in northeast Ohio with her husband, kids, and two dogs.
